Cool Dance moves for Beginners

Cupid Shuffle
One of the most popular dance move of 70's, cupid shuffle adds a modern and hip twist to the electric slide. This dance move was created by songwriter Cupid in which you have to start with a four count of shuffling towards the left. You need to move four steps to the left with a shuffle and glide by adding some style and rhythm to it. Similarly you have to move four steps to the right with a shuffle and glide. In the next session, kick your feet forward in a heel toe action by taking your right foot first. Thrust your foot forward with the heel touching the pavement and toes pointing to the sky. Now switch to the left and repeat the entire move. Finally to end the dance move take a two step forward motion with a 360 degree step-by-step spin.

Soulja Boy
This is a hip hop dance sequence in which you need to bend your knees, jump in air and land with the right foot crossed over the left. Kick the left foot behind in such a way that your right foot touches the ball of the foot. Now come back to the initial position, pop your right foot and left shoulder forward with your upper body bending down at right angle. Now the ball of your right foot should touch out in front first and then to the right, and lastly pop up and down to the side once. In the next session press your hands together in a diving position and push them outward with your right leg cocked behind. Stretch your arms, keep the feet apart and hop to your left three times and then to the right. While hopping keep your arms angled like a boxer and dance by adding to the rhythms and entire look of the set. Lastly, repeat the entire sequence of steps but in the opposite direction.

Electric Slide
Start the move by doing a grapevine, take four steps to the right and touch the left foot next to the right foot and clap on the last step. Similarly do a grapevine to the left and touch your right foot at the end of it. Take four steps backward and step on the right then left then right and touch your left foot and clap on the last step. Step forward with your left foot and tap the right toe at the left heel while ending with a clap. Move backward with the right foot, tap your left foot at the right heel and end with a clap. Repeat the step touch sequence and step forward with your left foot and tap the right toe at the left heel and clap. Now move backward with your right foot and tap the left foot at the right heel, clap simultaneously. Bring your left foot forward and quarter-turn to the left while ending with a hop.
